Main - Lovely Lullabies Veterans' Memorial vandalized. 9/24/10 Shot fired. 9/21/10 Remnant of tag on 117 South Main. 9/10 Stop sign flattened and parked car smashed at Main & Boone's Lick. 9/8/10 Irreplaceable and original 1906 star glass broken at 222 N. Main. 7/29/10 Tags and weeds. 7/10 Break-ins on South Main: 7/18/10 and 8/20/10. - Break-ins on North Main: 8/16/10. This tag on the side of 336 S. Main was also scrawled on N. Main buildings. Posted 7/10 Tag on back of 222 N. Main. Posted 7/10 Roving gangs are vandalizing gas lights, trash cans, plantings on South Main. Six gaslights were broken in the episode of 7/7/10. Late night vandalism. 6/26/10 Another weekend of late night vandalism. Five topiary plantings were damaged. 5/30/10 Another crash through the iron fence along Riverside Dr. 1/10 Last remaining piece of 104 year old glass was broken on the facade of George and Sharlotte Worthington's building at 222 North Main. 1/13/10 Drunks damaged the landscape at 819 South Main sometime after 1pm. 7/09 "A very drunk young man ran between 815 and 809 South Main at about 1:40am. He attempted to climb the fence and appeared to be attempting to get on the roof of 809 South Main. He was challenged by the resident at 815. The subject then ran and attempted to hide in the flowers at the front of 809. He was detained and then arrested by the St. Charles Police Department. Damage consisted of broken fence boards, gutter damage, and possible electrical wiring damage to 809 South Main. Unknown what his intentions were before he was confronted by the resident. The subject was extremely intoxicated. Wonder where he was before he made his ill fated foray in between the houses." from Jenny Gravemann, 815 S. Main - 6/09 A gang of rowdy young men were heard and then seen by a resident as they broke first one gaslight and then another. Police arrived in time to confront the vandals. 6/09 The guard rail behind Boone's Lick Inn has been rammed by drunk driver yet again and replaced. 6/09 The fence along Frontier Park with bumper indentation. 5/09 Damage by drunk driver at WaterWorks Place. 9/08 Damage by drunk driver at Western House, 1001 S. Main. 6/08

Care of Frontier Park Frontier Park is within the Historic District boundaries. Activities in the park reflect on the entire Historic District. July, 2010 The Park Board met with Council in a joint meeting to discuss the overuse of Frontier Park. Maralee Britton, Parks Director, said Frontier Park needs rest. Heavy trucks and traffic have compacted the park and the number of events do not allow sufficient time between for rejuvination. Can we do this better?	In the major renovation of Boone's Lick, attention was given to the color of the curbing.
