HISTORIC DOWTOWN ASSOCIATION
About the Association:
In one form or another, a downtown St. Charles Merchants Improvement Association has existed for more than 100 years. At one time it was called the Citizenʼs Improvement Association, Downtown Association, Riverside Mall Associates, North Main Association and now, Historic Downtown Association. The Associationʼs membership consists of business and property owners, and residents with an interest in the 100 South through 400 North blocks of Main Street, a classic downtown business district. The purpose of HDA is to promote the area, represent the area, and undertake projects to enhance the area. The Historic Downtown Association is recognized as the neighborhood association in city ordinances.
